Celebrating 500 libraries

PSA – 30 seconds

The African Library Project is celebrating, and you should, too. Thanks to the hard work of children here in the U.S., the African Library Project has started over 500 libraries in just five years.

African Library Project makes it easy for children to recycle their books through book drives and send them directly to villages in Africa.  Then they help their African partners organize and staff the libraries.

Thanks to the African Library Project, there are 500 more libraries in the world and a lot more to come. Find out how you can start a library at africanlibraryproject.org.
