Build Your Own Book Drive Page

Once your book drive has been approved by the African Library Project, you can create your own personal webpage for our section "Book Drives in Action".  Use your page to gather support for your book drive.

It's Easy to Get Started

• Click on "login/logout" (bottom right of each page)
• Click on "Register" (it's below the input form)
• Complete the form and press "register"
• You will receive an activation email (make sure it isn't in your spam folder)
• Click on the activation link in the email and you are now good to go 
• Log in and enter information about your book drive. You can even upload photos to the page.  
• The more detail you can provide, the better.  For example, make sure you list exactly what types of books you are looking for.  If you have this information from your application, include it.  Browse other Book Drive pages to see what details and strategies other Book Drive Organizers have used if you want good ideas.
• Your completed page will be added to our Book Drives in Action section.
• You can update your page at any time!

Share Your Page

Share your page with your friends and supporters by going to your page in Book Drives in Action and clicking on the button at the bottom of the page .. this will let you email your page or add it to your social networks like Facebook, etc.

Others may visit your page, too, including potential book drive organizers, donors, media and anyone who wants to learn more about how we work. It's all good!

Although many will be able to view your page, only you will be able to edit the content.  We also reserve the right to edit all pages to ensure consistency of format and appropriate content.

To update your page, just Login (see bottom right of any page) and make the changes you desire.  Then send reminders to your supporters with a link to your page for the latest information.
